10' x 10' Canopy : Round Stakes or Weighted Bags to secure?

we bought a new 10' x 10' free-standing canopy and are wondering the best way to keep it on the ground. should i invest in the weighted bags, or are 18" round stakes the better and easier choice? i...

because of the possibility for strong wind gusts, i'm going to Home Depot today and going with either the 18" round stakes or the 12" nails mentioned earlier, along with a 4 LB sledge hammer. we've camped in this state park before and stakes are permitted so we should be good to go. i ordered some ratchet straps off of amazon just now.
