Can I jump in? Is the water hot?
With our Dynasty, I originally had a 15 amp outlet at the storage garage. So, I had an adaptor that went from 50 amp female on one end to a 30 amp male on the other, then a 30 amp female plug with a 15 amp male plug to go into the outlet.
I had to set my inverter to 15 amp. I basically just ran the fridge and battery charger.
I was then able to move up to a 30 amp outlet garage which I've had for a while.
The 100 unit garage facility doesn't offer 50 amp. So, with the new coach, my only choice is 30 amp. The coach electrical system only allows me to go down to 30 amp. 15 amp is not offered in the electric system as we have four 3,500 watt inverters. We are an electric hog!
I did pop the 30 amp breaker once by not turning off the electric water heater while running one roof air.
If I ever have to leave the coach in the southwestern desert in the summer (110+ degrees most of the time)... I was thinking of buying one of those stand alone portable air conditioners as I also have a double 15 amp plug next to the 30 amp connection.
My thought was that I could run one house air and the portable unit to keep the coach cool during summer storage. 99% of the time, I wouldn't be there in the summer but I was last year.
I have three choices in the electrical section when setting the inverters...
