1157 pigtail for license plate light
We just purchased a 1988 Elite and as I was checking things out I found the license plate light was connected to a pigtail coming out of the 1157 bulb. Now all is well and good but the wiring is fray...

I had assumed the wire was soldered to the SOCKET where the other wires connect......and all you would need was a new piece of wire.
