19 foot class C

I saw a picture of the Dodge based Class C you are talking about recently.
I can not find it.
I remember reading they were built only during the 1990s by a small
company they usually only builds TT.

i think the OP already got his answer 6 posts back. i do not recall any slides on these single rear wheel rigs.

Phoenix USA has an interactive pricing calculator HERE where you input model and options. At the end it adds a factory-direct discount. To be honest with you, I think you can negotiate a few % lower yet. They take in trades of all kinds and offer financing too.

The beauty in ordering one versus one ready-made, you make it just the way you want it. And you really don't save anything (maybe a tad) buying ready-made unless that rig was used as a show model in RV shows. The factory is exceptional in accommodating special requests and apply or delete the cost accordingly without gouging.

If you want to talk "Price", you will be working with Earl Robbins there. He along with the rest of Phoenix are straight shooters. No dealer style game playing.

Check out the 19 foot Coachmen Freelander..... but NO SLIDE.
There is a video on the net if you search.
When you buy such a short Class C you need bang for the buck.

Other than THIS SRW 19' (maybe a true 20' or 21') rig with a cab-over bed that Cruise America rents out with NO slide out, I never seen a class B+ or C at 19 feet long. At least not in many years, and then surely without a slide out.


The Phoenix Cruiser 2100 is 21'-7" long and it is offered with and without a slide out. I am sure there are other brands to be found. For a couple, I personally would like the 2100 if it had a cab-over bed to avoid set-up and tear-down once each per day. I feel the 2100 without a slide out is ideal for a single person. Just make the dinette a day bed and you are all set up for all needs day and night. If special ordering, you could request the couch be replaced with a nice recliner, likely at no additional cost.

Sure it was Dodge chassis? I think the Federal bailout of Chrysler in the1970s took them out of the medium truck and RV business before Newmar introduced slideouts for RVs.

In the early 1970s when most RVs were on Dodge chassis, most C's were 19-21 feet long, anything more than 24' was unusual.

We have a 24ft Class C with one slide and never saw the need for a toad. We did rent a car once - to drive the Going to the Sun road in Glacier NP.
