I'm not going to say yes or know to the project, but this post points out a major mistake many make when starting to restore a vehicle; Bring it home, most of the tires won't hold air. So they run out and buy new tires. But most times, a DIY restoration takes years. So when they finally get to the reward for all that work a tire goes bang. Better plan, IMHO, is get enough "may-pops" from a tire shop to hold it up, then when done, buy the the new tires.
