1985 Fleetwood Tioga Arrow forced air furnace need help

I have a 1985 Fleetwood Tioga Arrow motor home and am desperately trying to get heat in it. It has an LP gas hookup and the blower is working, the thermostat is working but yet when I try to get the pilot light to ignite you hear it, but nothing happens. All lines are open, burners work, fridge works, oven works. Propane is full and set to proper settings. It has only been on once and it ran fine. Now that I need it, something is not working right. If someone could send me step by step instructions on how to double check this and get it to work, my dog and I will be most grateful.

  • Weather being what it is up there, might be best for the dog if you called a
    mobile tech service?
  • Number you posted is serial number. Make and model is what we need.
Does the blue flame go out?
What manual did Graingers send you?
  • To both posts,@enbelthen and @GMandJM, the model number or serial number is 1554726 and it almost looks like an old fashioned water radiator heater in older houses. You can hear a click and then a blue flash but nothing else. I have looked everything up I can find for this and finally called a place called Grainger. The lady I spoke to sent me a copy of the manual but it only refers to the manufacturer detail. I tried looking it all up but, no luck. I wish someone was in my area and could take a look at it. I know everything else works but this. Thanks for replying.
  • What brand and model and how old is it? Have you Googled or done a search for
    how to change a thermocoupler?
  • What is make and model of furance. Most do not have pilot lights. They are DSI (Direct Spark Igntion). Thermosta operates and energizes fan relay which closes sail switch with air movement. Many times problems are caused by dirt in sail switch.
