The Winnies seem to hold up better than some of the other gassers of that age but ultimately condition and maintenance are everything and a tight roof is priceless.
Which chassis is it on - Ford (John Deere) or Chevy? Keep in mind that while the coach may be a 1989 the chassis could easily be a 1988. This is somewhat typical but can be important when purchasing parts.
Buying any coach of that age, expect it to dig into your pocket right of the bat. Tires, brakes, cooling system and electrical seem need attention especially if it has sat a lot and with only 17K on a 25 year old coach it has sat a LOT. Could be a good deal, just keep your eyes open.
Best of Luck!
