Only pressure I come up with is 56-62 PSI.
Initial prime when you turn on the ignition switch is through the fuel pump relay. It is normally located under the dog house mounted to metal shield along left side of the engine on the frame rail.Fuel pump relay
Next is to check or maybe even replace the oil pressure sending unit.Oil pressure sending unit
Verify that the fuse is good? My book says it is fuse #9. This sends power to the oil pressure gauge on an orange wire and sends power to the fuel pump relay.
Verify that your rod is moving the ignition switch.
Try adjusting the tilt on the steering wheel as it has some effect on the linkage to the ignition switch.Ignition switch
