Fuel pump went out three times in the last three years on my '94 Itasca Chevy P30, 454. Last time replaced the sender unit which holds the pump and the tank fuel level device. Seems there was a corrosion problem on the connectors caused by the ethanol gas, and the ground at the top of the tank area was very rusted and corroded, causing bad current and voltage supply to the fuel pump and fuel guage system. Been running for a year now with no further problems.
