Our original was a 50 AMP and replaced it with a 55 AMP, we got ours at Campers World. Rule is you can go a little bigger but not smaller. If your inverter looks like a big metal box it is probably the original and 20 years old. Wasn't hard to replace, you probably already know it is under the left seat near the electrical breaker box. Real good suggestion with the vacuum lines, I think I will put that on my list.
I had no idea where the inverter was located. Thanks,Doc,for the info.
I do have a question specifically for you: When you open the door from the outside and look on the left, there is a electrical switch panel with 3 switches. One for the outside light, one for the inside light and the third one is a red one.Do you have any idea what the red one is for? I also accidentally disconnected the three connectors to this switch and have no idea which wire goes where. If you feel up to crawling under the sink and looking at this red switch to see which wires go where, I will be deeply indebted. This picture contains the switch panel which is below the yellow sticker on the side of the sink cabinet. The right switch is the red one which I don't know anything about.
Yes, my heater works only on defrost..I m guessing the vacuum lines are shot. Will be looking into this tomorrow.
