I have the tail pipe extension out of the muffler, no damage to the muffler.
Will post pictures when the project is done, will do a temporary fix with a 90 straight down and then make a custom piece to restore the exhaust system to it's original configuration.
It comes out of the muffler as a 5 inch and then step down to 4 inch within a 1/2 inch.
