- rodjburgeExplorerProblem solved thanx to all.
Called freight liner resulting in model number (indeed an MD 3060) along with the serial number. Then contacted allison and was able to get the pn of the "rear flange cover" which allowed me to find the part after contacting several allison parts houses. Found the rascal in North Carolina at Ted Keat sales (web site tktsales.com). Ted was most helpful and very knowledgable about my problem the hardware and what I needed to get going with this repair. - wolfe10ExplorerYour chassis maker will also have a record of the transmission serial number. Certainly worth a call to them.
I don't recall if yours is on a Freightliner or Roadmaster (Monaco in-house) chassis, so, here are both numbers. They will need your VIN to look it up:
Monaco Oregon Service Center. ORservice@monacorv.com. 91186 N. Coburg Industrial Way Coburg, OR 97408. Mon - Fri: 7:00am - 4:00pm PT. 877-466-6226
Freightliner 800 385-4357 - rodjburgeExplorerCoach has the 275HP cummins. I believe the weight is around 24000. Coach is 250 miles away and not available to me at this time. Transmission was pulled and sent to Portland for repair and checkout.
- wolfe10ExplorerIt will be the 3000 series.
May be MD3060. It is on a plate on the driver's side of the transmission (yes, under the coach). - Big_KatunaExplorer IIWhat size. HP motor and how much does your coach weigh?
