1999 Pace Arrow ( Heates)

I just got a 1999 37 Pace Arrow when I got it home I when to try out the heaters that is located on the A/C panel when I flip the switch to heat it dose nothing on ether front or back is there something I'm missing. All the breakers look good?
  • Thanks everyone for the answers I have found out that it will not come on till it gets to 70F or lower considering the coach is at 100f+ I’ll have to what for it to get cooler or take the panel off the wall and bypass the thermostat.

First turn the thermostat to heat. When you have it set to 70F and it is 75, the heat will not come.
If thermostat operates fine, you need to go to the furnace and start with checking the power.
Post some furnace pictures if you have more troubles.

What if your temp is over 70F in the coach will it turn on or dose it have to be 70F or lower and if so then how can you test them to see if they work?

The numbers were just examples. To call for heat, the thermostat must be set to a temperature higher than the ambient temperature in the RV.

I think the temp in the coach is higher than the thermostat is there a way to test the units by bypassing the thermostat ??
  • Just a thought. On my 1998 Pace Arrow, there are switches inside the heaters' outside covers that can be switched off to take a furnace off line. Our rear furnace is giving us a fault code, which I've solved by switching it off! I tell myself that I'll hunt down the fix before the need to fire up two heaters. But, today, it warm out. :-)
