In our 2009 Greyhawk the TV only plays through the coach speakers when the TV Input is Input 1, which comes from the in-dash DVD player. If we are just watching TV, they do not come through the speakers. Our TV does not have a headphone jack (not one that I have found anyway), so j-d's suggestion wouldn't work for us. I don't think Jayco is using Sharp TVs anymore (I know they aren't in their trailers or Super Cs) so your TV may have that jack.
As for the valve stems, I'd recommend getting a set of Tire-man valve stems. Our Greyhawk came with the braided valve extensions. They worked pretty well, although one of the inner tires needed to be re-seated on the valve stem after a couple years. When we bought new tires earlier this year, I purchased the tire-man valve stems and they work very well. The mechanic didn't charge extra for installing them since they were going on to new tires I purchased through them.
