Thanks a lot for these links! They are much clearer than the ones I looked up. Gives me a good idea of what to check/look for. - ssimmonsExplorer

Does it feel ok when it shifts? If so it might be the ground problem throwing false codes.
Shifts perfect. No slip or anything just a nice smooth shift when it's suppose to happen. When I got it I cleared all the codes in the ecm. And rechecked to make sure they were cleared. Then I drove it to town and stopped to get the wife some coffee. When I got back in and started it then try to move it kinda acted like I had the parking brake on a little so I let off the throttle and check but it wasn't. Then I tried to move again and it did the same thing but this time It did a sudden jump them move like it was suppose to. At this time the check engine light came back on and the O/D light on the shifter started flashing but it then drove and shifted fine after doing this. Kinda felt like it was trying to take off in second or third gear then jumped to first. - Big_KatunaExplorer IIDoes it feel ok when it shifts? - Big_KatunaExplorer IIGoogle. And check TSBs from Ford. There is/was one that required rewiring/adding a updated ground wiring harness that corrected noisey grounds that triggered false codes from sensors.
