I had a Dometic in my 5th wheel that did. The fridge has to be pretty level for the chemical coolant to circulate correctly. I just assumed all chemical fridges did.
Sorry, but there is NO auto shut off device. IF out of level, the refer will NOT cool, but will still heat up and ruin the Cooling Unit. I have 37 years as a Tech(still current) and I KNOW what kind of controls and systems they have had for at least 40 years. Doug
Auto shutoff may be the wrong word to use, but the trouble light came on and the unit wouldn't cool. Same effect.
That is a CHECK light. That ONLY comes ON when the LP flame fails to light. When the LP fails to light, it will NOT cool. Has nothing to do with unlevel or any other parameter. Trust me, you have your information wrong. Doug
