2002 Endeavor bad IIOTA ITS -50R replacement

Hello,

We have a 2002 Endeavor that has a bad IOTA ITS-50R replacement transfer switch. The company is out of business that made them. Before we start trying different ones on-line, where the vendor says, "no problem" it will fit and we try and install and it doesnt fit.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
  • I replaced my Iota with the WFCO T57 transfer switch. Easy replacement, all wires lined up, very easy swap out. I tried using a Powermax but the wires had to be crossed over to installed and it's not easy to move them.
  • I looked up IOTA and found the same WFCOT57 switch as above. They aren't that exotic and pretty much looks like the IOTA.
  • Huh, I didn't know Iota went out of business. Must have been the recalls.

Doesn't sound like you have much choice but to retrofit another brand. This WFCO claims to be the direct replacement:

    WFCO T57
  • Unless your wire lengths are really tight, or space where it is installed is very tight, any will work. Every one of them has exactly the same connections (two hots, neutral and ground) in from both shore and generator and the "outs" to the coach main breaker box.

If in doubt about whether the box will fit and/or wires will reach, compare on-line pictures/dimensions with what you have.
