2003 Holiday Rambler Neptune

We are going to being looking at a 2003 Holiday Rambler Neptune 34' on Sunday. This will be our first Class A purchase and wanted to know what everyone's opinions are on this unit.
  • You need to check the date codes on the tires and determine what year they were manufactured.
  • Make sure you test drive it over various road conditions. If it's on the R4R chassis, they're known for a very rough ride. Don't think that just because it has air suspension it will ride nicely. They typically ride very harsh. As mentioned above, make sure you check that the trailing arms have been upgraded also. The replacement arms should look like this. http://sourcerv.com/trailing_arm
  • Wow, thank you for that heads up! We definitely will check with them to see if its been taken care of!
  • Not sure if 2003had trailing arm issue but 2004, 4 air bag chassis had the problem
  • Congrats on your new coach! I looked at a 2004 Neptune DP back in 2004 and liked that coach!
