2003 Vision Condor

Looking at a 2003 Condor, has 26K miles, can anyone give me some input on their experience with this brand motor home. We are first time buyers. Thanks
  • We had 2003 Condor 1340, had a couch & dinette slide, and a bed slide. Side hall design with everything in the bathroom. All of the utilities were your norm, Dometic fridge and stove, Atwood hot water, onan 5.5 generator, and PowerGear hydraulic levelers. 8.1 Chevy engine and the 4L80E Chevy trans. 18K Workhorse P32 chassis (make sure to put Monroe Magnum RV shocks on it), and 50 amp shore power, and two 13K airs.
Bottom line, it was basically what they call an entry level gas model.
The problems I had were mainly with the AutoPark emergency brake system. After multiple repairs, Workhorse finally replaced the whole electric and hydraulics system to a much heavier duty system. This was done under warranty, never a problem after that. We traveled for seven seasons and 46K miles and enjoyed the rig.
  • We have friends with a 2001 Condor. Fit and finish of the interior is not that great - cheap fabrics, press-board cabinets, etc. Probably not unusual, though.

Some simple, though not necessarily bad features. No automatic power switching. One plugs the power cord into a generator power outlet.

Determine if the coach has Auto-park. Research carefully if it does.

Their unit has a kitchen and sofa slide. It lurches and drags the floor - we seem to do repairs to it every time they use the coach. Big problem for them.
