The reality is that if both are in the same condition, you can't really go wrong with either rig. The Signature is the top of the line Monaco and was manufactured with all high end components. The Foretravel, regardless of model, also is made with all high end components.
My suggestion is to focus on:
1. Maintenance history/condition
2. Floorplan
Assuming you can get a price you are happy with on either rig, those criteria should be your main concern. There's no reason whatsoever to worry about the history of the Monaco brand and their financial woe's.....
