- Bruce_BrownModeratorWe had one in our '03, we were very happy with it.
Generac is still going strong in the generator business, and I believe it was a small Cat diesel running it. Obviously Cat is still going and has a great history of product support. With that said, I would suspect parts wouldn't be an issue. - sempkaExplorer

Generac is out of the RV Generator Business.. I have a gasoline Generac and some parts are still available for it but not all from what I have been told. Generac will refer you to a parts house that may or may not have parts. They didn't have what I needed but I found a RV dealership that could repair my generator. - Bruce_BrownModeratorThats too bad, they made a good unit. Thanks for the update.
- revumpExplorerThe Generac 7500 D in our 06 Alfa See Ya blew the rotor and stator. Generac does not provide those parts anymore. So, it has to be replaced

Sorry to hear. I was afraid of that - sailor_louExplorerA motor rewind shop can repair a rotor and/or stator. I had to repair the Onan rotor on my previous rig (97 Winne Vectra) after mice made a nest inside and it was less than half the cost of a replacement.
