2005 Fleetwood Southwind - water pump issue.

The 2088 were pretty good pumps, but they collect debris in the pump assembly if they are not equipped with a screenstrainer on the intake side.
If the pump is bad, recommend getting the screen strainer if not equipped.

Shurflo 2088-422-174 I called Shurflo and they said that the Revolution 4008-101-E65 would be the right replacement.

What is make and model of the current pump?

Thank you. I disconnected the pump. turned the switch on and it didn't blow the fuse. is this an indication of a bad pump?

It could be the pump controller and not the fuse.
Try disconnecting the pump, then try the switch to turn it on, if fuse blows it is the pump controller.
They are located in various locations.
