2006 Coachmen Cross Country

Completed a one month trip with the family this summer. Have most everything figured out on the RV. The one thing that I haven't figured out is why one time my slide comes in any has plenty of power and then the next time it has barely any.
So the question is Inverter on or off when plugged into shore power... Main battery in back of coach on or off when plugged into shore power...and I always keep the battery switch by the door on.
Also what is the proper position for all of these when it's store and plugged into shore power.

    We have an 04 Cross Country but I think they are very similar. I always keep the battery switch by the entry door on. But we are always plugged in(even in storage) or using the generator so the house batteries are never really draining. The chassis disconnect in the rear engine bay I turn off if parked for more than a day or two. With ours, plugging into shore power does not charge the chassis batteries so they will end up dead if not switched off, even if you plugged into shore power. Inverter is almost always on "Line Charge". As for the slide, I always slide it in while still plugged into shore power. For two reasons...one, no wasting battery power and two, it is much easier to unhook and store water and septic hoses once the slide is in.
