I have had this 40 ft. Coach since new. Today is first time auto leveler did not work. When i push autolevel it just makes a noise and shuts off. It doesn,t deflate the airbags or start any movement of the jacks. Anyone have any help for me??? Thanks

  • Arnie,

    These two links might help.

    Equalizer 1

    Equalizer 2

As I recall when talking with the Equalizer rep most of the issues are Voltage - so battery and full charge then connections - a multimeter is critical to being sure that you are getting the proper voltage.

When I worked on it with the Service Tec it took us a couple hours to check all the circuits and get power to all the wires. and it takes two people to be safe and to help speed it up when working on it.

Good luck and report back on the solution,

    Bill

Had the same issue on mine after it had been sitting for a while - Ground wire and the connectors all needed to be cleaned up. If I recll - ended up having the local mobile tec come out to find it 9on my Coach it was passenger side front under the bumper/fender) - took some time but everything worked as new after the connections and the ground were cleaned.

    Hope this helps,

If this doesn't correct the problem I would contact Equalizer for their technical support, Friday as they will be closed for the 4th and not sure if open on Monday.
  • Our recently sold Georgetown 325 had auto level. The only time I used it, it lifted the RV so far off the ground, it was scary. After that incident, I put two levels on the windshield frame structure, one fore-aft and the other side-to side. I set them on my driveway when the base of the fridge was exactly level.

Once done, I could level at CG sites with a minimum of extension of the actuators. I also learned to read the levels to decide if I wanted to stay at a particular site in a CG.
