2006 Winnebago Outlook / E450 Cab AC issue
Greetings,
Resurrecting the RV from 6 months hiatus and noticed an issue. Cab AC blows ice cold on Normal AC and about ambient temperature on Max AC. I had taken it to Ford about 2 years ago for an issue where it blew cold out the defrost vents when under load, like climbing a hill. They fixed it by rerouting the HVAC vacuum reservoir box (said by rerouting it I save 20 hours labor). This worked fine for the first year. Now it's cold on normal AC but just cool on Max AC. Doesn't ever switch to defrost vent like it did before.
Called the same Ford tech and he said that didn't make sense. Said it could be dried out seals on the compressor, or Freon leak, or even some high/low sensor. I just don't think it's a major issue since the normal AC works and don't want to be railroaded into swapping out expensive parts to fix a minor issue.
Ideas?
