2007 Thor Hurricane 32R - Generac generator question

Should I be concerned about it having a Generac Guardian (278 hours) generator instead of an Onan. It fired up and sounded ok. My main concern is reliability but also parts availability and finding shops willing to work on it. Otherwise the rest of the coach looks good. 22k miles and clean.

    Got a 2006 Hurricane 31D with a Generac. Pushing 1400 hours on it and going strong. I would be more concerned about possible delamination around the below floor storage doors.

    Generac has been around for a long time. Our first RV had one and we keep it 7 years and never had any issues with it. Have a friend that has one of the backup Generac for his home and he puts a lot of hours on it due power outage. Use it and enjoy.

    Regardless of what you may have been told about the maintenance history, change the oil, oil filter, air filter. Run it for an hour or so under load. 278 hours isn’t a lot of time but it’s been used or exercised from time to time.
