Since it's on a Freightliner chassis, the easiest thing to do is to call Freightliner with the VIN # in hand - they will want the last six digits.

If it doesn't have a hole in it, I wouldn't worry about it. My 2005 Excursion muffler is doing fine. If you put a new one on, it will probably look the same in two years from the exhaust heat.
