- tourusaExplorer100 percent, and totally agree. If the dealer cannot figure it out may be a ball of wax. Thanks for everyone’s input
- 4x4vanExplorer IIIIf it's at the dealer's, let them figure it out. We can't possibly solve the issue when you are not working with it in the first place. Or am I missing something?

Hi so bad invertor could stop the engine from starting ?
The inverter will not directly stop the engine from starting, however on most class A coaches the inverter is a combination inverter & battery charger. So, if the charger is not charging you may end up with dead batteries. On some coaches the inverter doesn't charge the engine batteries, they might only be charged by the alternator, and the alternator may not charge the house batteries. It all depends on how the coach was designed and if the system is still operating properly. Fortunately, those design limitations can easily be overcome. Virtually any coach that sits unconnected to shore or solar power will develop dead batteries, sometimes in just a few days.
You said they pulled the coach inside. So, did they jumper cable it to get it started?
Have they tried to repair the electrical problem?
With good batteries installed do the systems seem to work?
Things could seem ok with good batteries only to go down again if they are not being charged. - midnightsadieExplorer IImice ate the wires.

- wa8yxmExplorer IIIIf it's sat long enough on a dealer's lot the batteries can go FLAT (no charge won't take one either) But I'd be a bit... Watchful of the batteries till you are sure they are charging.. Also might want to look up the converter or other charger device (inverter/charger) and let us know the make and model. Some are good.. Some fantastic. Some.. Well Some I'd recommend an upgrade now.
- tourusaExplorerHi they pulled it in today and charged all swapped out the batteries so they say
- ArchHoaglandExplorerHave you yourself actually measured the voltage at the battery terminals?
Sitting on a dealers lot they may have run down. - tourusaExplorerYes this one is sat in a dealers who im negotiating the price as is and they haven’t figured it out, like you say check the generator if it gets power from the batteries then shore power
Could it be the ECM or haven’t we got there yet if it’s dead - MountainAir05Explorer IICheck your cable for reverse, or a small one left off. It can happen. Battery has already been stated. Does the gen work. Master power switch if you have one.
With meter check from pos post on battery to a chassis ground any place you have metal.
