2009 Forest River Georgetown 35 - STEPS
Hello,
As the title indicates, I am having issue with the Lippert steps on the referenced unit. They are the three step variety and I have attempted to follow the troubleshooting instructions to troubleshoot with no luck. The problem is that they will not function at all. They will neither extend nor retract unless directly energized. I would appreciate anyone else's insight on this to help me figure out what to replace.
The first test was RED wire on the chassis side plug for hot with "switch" on and off. Both instances showed 13.7V which the manual indicated was "replace switch". I replaced the switch with no change in condition. I attempted to proceed through the indicated tests, though some were not possible (as I understood the instructions). I can extend and retract the steps though with direct connection. The steps function appropriately in this condition. I just don't know how to sort out what is happening in between.
Some of the wire colors are just not there and some of the component in between, I just don't know how to test correctly.
I appreciate anyone's help in advance.

I know this is vague. I can provide as much more information as I have, but just don't know what is relevant with these systems.
