That said. Both engines have advantages and disadvantages, I happen to like GM over ford. The Allison Tranny is quite a plus too (Most folks INCLUDING FORD, agree the Allison is best).
I see the Workhorse people claiming this, but I don't see Ford people saying that-----------especially with the 2006 and up Tow/Haul Ford tranny.
So what do I recommend:
Get the one with the floor plan you like the best of course.
