Looking at our first MH.
Can anyone give me some idea on the mileage of a 2011 THOR 29.1 with the Ford V-10?
Thanks

6 to 8 mpg, it all depends if your towing, wind, hills, mountains and how fast you drive...
:C
He's asking about an ACE. Your bounder is significantly heavier. You can expect 9 MPG on an ACE avg. I have 2 of them, and they both get pretty close to that. - timmacExplorer

:C - WyoTravelerExplorerYup, I get 6.1 honest miles per gallon when towing my Jeep.
- EffyExplorer IISize goes up, MPG goes down as a general rule. Sprinters with a FRED get decent mileage. Some of the new short diesel pushers get decent mpg too. FW excursion and Thor palazzo can tout double digit mpg. Of course what you save in MPG will be well lost in what you paid for the MH.

Thanks all.
That is what i guessed. We have a 2002 F350 dually with the 7.3 powerstoke with about 31,000 miles on it and a 2005 9'-6: bigfoot truck camper getting about 18mpg all day long with bas boat or not.Does any one know about the Thor Sprinters (B+) SIESTA or CITATION? Would like some thing just a litte bit bigger other then that the truck camper is great.
Thanks
13-19 mpg - gone2dadesertExplorer

Sounds close to me, I plan my fuel stops for 6mpg with a 80gallon fuel tank.:E - GULFMANExplorerThanks all.

Thanks - roam1Explorerask a simple question about mileage and the OP is worried and will never be happy? I call it smart due diligence
- accsysExplorerOwning a MH is definitely not about gas mileage! No matter what you buy, you will never be happy if you worry about gas mileage. Once you get out of the Bs and small Cs, it's going to cost you about 50¢/mile for gas/diesel. If your plans don't include spending that on fuel, don't buy one and you will be much happier.

Not sure what you are asking. What's good mileage? Avg? It's the same v-10 that's in every other new gas coach so the coach itself is not a factor with respect to mileage unless you take into consideration that it's has a much better power to weight ratio being only a 16k# coach on a 22k# chassis. That's a good thing. The Ford V-10 is pretty bullet proof. Hard to say how many miles you can put on it but it's likley to outlast the house on most MH's. Our 2012 ACE 29.1 (it's for sale btw if you want to PM me) has 48k and you could't tell it's not brand new. Runs like the day we bought it. Meticulous care though, full synth etc. Point being that that engine can last for who knows how many miles if you treat it right.
I thought he was talking about MPG?? I would guess 7.5-8.5 sometimes as low as 6 and once in a while with perfect conditions 9.5.
