24 gal is the only option for your coach and the 2014 models as well. So, it appears that the other owner was mistaken. My current coach has a 38 gal. My last coach had a 25 gal and my first coach I believe had a 24 gal tank. We're typically out for 6 months and I've never had to refill the tank. Having said that I seldom use the furnace. In the past if we had elect we have used ceramic heaters in the living room and bedroom (1 ea). Our current coach has heated tile floors and we did have to turn that on a couple of times this year but no furnace. As others have said you should be good with 24 gals.
