2013 Itasca V-10

Looking at a 2013 Itasca Sunstar motorhome with a Ford V-10. It has a little over 37,000 miles on the drive train. Assuming it was well maintained can I expect allot more life out of the drive train or move on to something else? Thanks to all for reading.

Thanks
  • If the maintenance schedule has been followed there is a strong possibility the chassis will out last the house that is built on it.
  • For a 2013 Ford F53/Triton V-10, 37,000 miles is little more than broken in. That's not much over 4,000 miles/year, so the RV likely hasn't been "rode hard and put away wet". Our 2001 F53 based motorhome has just over 72,000 miles on it, and the closest thing to a "major" repair it's had was having a new starter installed last year. Everything else has been routine normal maintenance items.
  • Hi,

My 2005 v-10 has over 110,000 miles on it. So far one mass flow air sensor has been replaced.

This is not proof--but is anecdotal evidence.
