I agree with the others. To pay new RV money and get a leaking rig is sheetsky-poopski!:M
I suggest the following. You said there are mating edges stuck together with some cheap, double sided foam tape. The dealer should seal the mating edges with some Eternabond sealing tape instead.
Next, they should use some Eternabond 4" tape to seal the inside seam all the way across. They should then use a thin bead of ProFlex on the outer seam and cover it with 4" wide, fabric backed Eternabond tape. The fabric backed tape can be painted to match your RV.
That should make for a flexible seal that will last a good 15 years on the outside and permanently on the inside.
