I have a 2013 Leprechaun 319DS and found that my front cap was flooded with water (same as the picture) when I checked the overhead for any leaks earlier this year. Initially I thought water was coming through the window seals as it has the cheap dry fit seals. Also thought it might be coming through the overhead lights and the joint between the front cap and overhead. I ended up sealing every conceivable joint with proflex with no luck. Ended up finding the leak on the left hand side where the roof starts to slope down and the termination of the awning rail. If you take the vinyl strip off the awning rail you will see that if there is not enough sealant at the termination then there is a wide open channel into the side wall that will eventually end up in the front cap. I was lucky as I park my unit on my driveway which has a slight slope towards the front so any rain or water will immediately start flowing into the front cap. However the water would not show up for at least 4 hours after a rain storm as the water needed time to trickle in. I ended up packing this area with proflex and also about 6 inches behind the termination in the awning channel and then reinserting the vinyl strip over the uncured proflex so I am sure it is completely filled. I also did this on the right hand side just in case. Furthermore, when I had the vinyl strip off I also noticed that the screws that are used to fasten the awning strip to the side of the RV were not all tight. I ended up tightening all the screws and then covering them up with proflex. You may ask why I did not take this back to the dealer especially if the unit was still under warranty. 2 reasons 1. I did not see any water damage except for the fibre glass bat which I replaced (thank goodness for Adzel sidewalls) and 2. the dealer probably could not replicate the conditions on my driveway. Even if they did they would have just sprayed water on it and resealed the obvious joints and call it a day. Problably would have to make several trips to the dealer which I hate. The good news is that there is no more leak and I ended up resealing all the joints which I would have had to do in the next year or so.
