Is this what Leprechaun "the better stuff"?
After looking at a lot of Class C rigs, I honestly do think that the Leprechaun does have a lot of 'better stuff' and that is one of the things that makes me upset here. It is like building a beautiful house and putting a straw roof on it to save money. I personally know of at least 2 more 2013 Leprechauns in the same shape and I am 100% sure there are lots more, many of which haven't been discovered as problems yet. If I am Coachmen, I think I would have my engineers come up with a proper fix and have a service bulletin out to the dealers ASAP. That would be the right thing to do, but it appears that they are letting their dealers stumble around and try to fix them on a one by one basis which leaves the dealers looking bad.
I honestly do believe that my dealer is doing his best to make this right, after all it has been taking up a bay in his repair facility for the last 3 weeks and I know they don't like having unhappy customers. When I was at the dealership today visiting my rig, I spoke to the general manager once again about what, if anything, Coachmen and his dealership would be willing to do if I decided that I wanted to just move on to another type of rig. He told me that he would speak to Coachmen next week and see what sort of concessions they might be willing to make. I will wait to see what he says. I like the rig a lot but I think I'm not feelin the love anymore.
