We have had more than our share of problems with the slides in our Newmar. Slide controllers burn out.
Even had a 3/4" solid stell shaft break. I'm sure there is no system that is foolproof. I've learned how to keep them adjusted and hopefully that solves it. The kitchen slide is very heavy as is our bunk bed slide and those are the ones that have problems.
The Newell slides are flat, same level as the floor. A section of the fixed floor drops down to make space
for the slide to come in. Pretty cool, But is will cost you 1.8 Million Bucks.
