please show pictures of all such slides from about 1994 on. I don't give a squat if yours has a 48" flat area, the ones I saw initially certainly were not possible to walk on a totally flat surface.
but why the snarky comments? It is always recommended that one see their RV with the slides in to see if it is livable. I have seen some that are not, but it is up to the purchaser to determine if it is acceptable to them, not whether you or I would purchase it. I am curious and would like to know if Doug happened to have any input into this design since he seems to take adverse comments personally. did he ever work for that firm?
but that is not the biggest design flaw (In my opinion) that I saw in Newmar products.
Again it is up to the purchaser to determine if the RV is suitable for his/her needs. We can only advise.
