275/70R22.5 to replace 235/80R22.5 Michelin

I am looking for new Michelin tires for my 37 ft Georgetown. Dealer has suggested XZA2 in 275/70 size as having much more load capacity for about $ 100 CAN extra. Anyone have experience with going to higher load rating. Larger size also opens the option to go to another manufacturer than Michelin.
Comments and advice????
  • I have Michelin XRV on my 36' motorhome. I'm a retired OTR Trucker, before I retired I ran Michelin XZA2 on my semi! What I'm trying to point out is the Michelin XRV is a soft rubber tire especially made for RV applications due to all the sitting that a RV does. The Michelin XZA2 is a hard rubber truck tire which requires higher load capacity for carry heavy loads. Good Luck with the new tires that your going to buy.
