30 amp 110 or 220 volt?

Most of the advice you've gotten is good but you still have to choose which to follow. I'll just say this, the 30 amps you want for your MH is just like a 15 or 20 amp outlet and wired the same. But:
BUT with so much at stake, please have a qualified electrician do the final hookup and take responsibility for the installation. You don't want to screw up this task.

This is a close up of the 30A to 50A ADAPTER showing how the HOT 1 ans HOT2 legs are wired together. Using this adapter feeds both zones of your 50AMP trailer but you will be restricted to only 30AMPs of service.... You will have to watch what you have turned on at the same time otherwise it will trip your breaker.



The beauty of having the contractors to do this is they are bonded and when they blow up your appliances for wiring it they way they think it is suppose to be they will replace your burned up items. You doing all of the wirng it will be ALL ON YOU...

Yes, 50 amp RV outlet gives 100 amps @ 120 VAC (TWO pinned 50 amp breakers!).

The two separate hots each feed half of your RV breaker box (unless Bubba wired it the loads are close to equally balanced).

Sorry, do not know what you are talking about about the "second leg feeding..."

Sure, you could run a couple of space heaters on each leg (as long as total draw per leg is less than 50 amps per leg).

Few if any RVs use electric heat. Some roof units have heat. There are conversion kits around to convert gas furnaces to electric. Most higher end all electric DPs use Aqua hot water heating systems
