30A with one A/C keep looking or modify..

Got to go to Lazy Days in Tampa while in town visiting the inlaws last week. We really like the Winnebago Vista bunk models but are really worried about 30A service and one roof air in a 31’ unit ( we live in Texas) What are the options to add a second air in the bedroom in such a unit? Is this a common upgrade by the dealer?

  • Check with Winnebago. Many units have the second AC unit as an option.
  • some rv,s are pre wired for a second ac unit. some where on the spec sheet it should say, not a hard job to mount a second unit, but 30amp is pushing the limet.
  • texas? keep looking. lots and lots of RVs out there.
  • I bought a portable ac on wheels. Run an extension cord to the 115 plug on the pole to supplement the cooling.
