3208 cat turbo, starts but will not shift into gear

My Beaver Contessa will not shift into gear, levelers are all up, air brake air is good, parking brake off. Not sure where to look for trouble and am out in the field. Thanks for any directions. Dick

Year of coach would really help. A 3208 is stated, doubt there are any computer issues, transmission cable problems seems more likely.
