We just did the same thing. We have a 38B and used to tow a Cherokee. We just bought a 2015 Tahoe, had it on one trip and did notice some difference on a long steep hill, otherwise it's fine.
A side note, the new Tahoe (2015) is a bit different from past. We had no problems with the Jeep, easy to hook up and tow. We had some problems with the Tahoe, tranfer case would get stuck in neutral, had to get towed twice to the dealership, they finally realized we needed a software upgrade. Also, the owners manual did not properly address keyless ignition procedure. FINALLY got it figured out.
