Some brand names become nouns and verbs. Like:

"I'll FedEx it to you."

"I was Hoovering and didn't hear the doorbell."

Or "Xerox this and hand it to Joe". Warning don't use the word Xerox as a verb in a publication. Xerox has people who do nothing but spend all day searching for "illegal" use of their name and you will get a cease and desist nasty gram from them. If you don't actively protect it, you will lose it, as several companies have discovered the hard way.
