- TrackrigExplorer IINo. Some state or national parks don't have a lot of them and you may have to make reservations. Private RV parks are usually not a problem.
Bill - bluwtr49Explorer IINope not at all. Best to call ahead and make sure they have a site that will accommodate.

- dubdub07ExplorerWe have a 42 footer. Every campground we liked and went to in our FW we can put our MH.
WW - S-n-LExplorerWe have been having very good success in private rv parks, not so much success in national or state parks. We do call ahead to make sure if we can fit.
For us the advantages of having our 45 ft coach greatly out-way any disadvantages. We can always find somewhere to put the coach.
Stuart - TrapExplorerSome of our friends had 40' coaches and warned us about going bigger cause of size. So far our 44'3" coach has fit everywhere they have.
- RedJeepExplorerI have a 36' class A. That is as big as I would ever go. Above 36', for example, you can't camp at Carlsbad State Beach Park, nor can you camp at the only rv park within the city of Vancouver BC. We also have a 41' toy hauler. So, it boils down to where you want to camp. Good luck and safe travels!
- holstein13ExplorerNo, it's not difficult. I'd say about 15% of private parks in the East can't accommodate a 45 footer. Public campgrounds in wooded areas might be closer to 75% say they can't handle them. But sometimes they fit them in anyway.
- IvylogExplorer IIIHere are 8 of my posts on this subject. I built my MH garage big enough for a 45'.:B
- BrazenExplorerThank you to all that has responded. I so have my heart set on a 45' DP and most of you all have confirmed what I already thought to be true. I did read in another post on this site that the roads may be more difficult to travel than the actual sites. I suppose that's when the toad will be pretty handy...checking out the roads and being able to prepare.
