460 Ford engine problem

Thanks for the tips guys. An update with more symptoms. I went out to start it and the battery was dead. I replaced it with the one out of the racecar. It cranked over good but was very hard to start. Didn't want to even try to fire. It finally started and it idled fine for about 15 seconds then it stumbled a little and cleaned up then stumbled and died. It was hard to start again and has a hesitation when giving it some gas. Died again and cranked a long time with several tries before it fired again. Let it run a minute shut it off and now it won't start at all. Now I'm leaning towards a fuel pump/filter problem possibly like was suggested earlier? I'll change the filter first and go from there. I know it hasn't been changed as long as I've had it and I've put 30,000 miles on it. This thing has been mechanically flawless the last 5 years I've owned it, now all the sudden I think it's all falling apart at the same time. I forgot to add two weekends ago the the A/C compressor locked up and snapped the belt. What a long ride home with no power steering or power brakes. Luckily the car trailer brakes are good.
