460 plug wires
Iam having a problem burning plug wires with stock exhaust manifolds....they are not leaking...pure heat. have ordered headers...but the Ford racing wires rated at 650 degrees on the boots only last...

what kind of header is that and are those Ford Racing wires.....I also notice you are running gaskets...what kind ?

Placement of your O2 sensor is critical. Note where Ford put it in the "Y" pipe. If you don't use a "X" pipe between your dual pipes, you will get a better torque curve with a LARGE single exhaust.
