Mine was done at a shop in BC..Canada..Kamloops Light Truck and it was $22,000 8 years ago. Of course, if a person from the US walked in today? They'd save just a whack of money on the exchange. They'll do a conversion on anything that rolls. There is also a shop in SLC Utah that does the same.

Mine are manual hubs, manual transfer case engagement and a 6" lift. The original owner put on a rear mounted boat rack, some solar..I boosted hat by a bunch, he also armour plated the underside rear to keep the plumbing protected. I mounted an custom Aluminess bumper, set of Lightforce lights and a 12,000 Warn winch.

I have been in some fabulous places..places that saw me engaging the 4 wheel. But for sure, I have to be very mindful of a couple of things. The flex issue and the weight. I want to badly to go onto a beach in Oregon or Washington but..if I got in trouble? Man..I don't know...and yes, I carry a compressor so I could air down, but still...I'd hate to loose the rig out of stubbornness.

As I said at the outset, having had this for 6 years? I wouldn't want to go back to non-4x4. The ability to get thru some pretty mean water and tracks? Could not be doing it otherwise. If you were to do one...beware of the critical points..the suspension. Being a 24ft, it has a very short wheelbase so it is a stiff ride. I have spent a lot of time and money getting the front end right...currently with a 3 leaf inverted set. Ranch shocks...lots of steel in the rear plus air bags.
