Very cool but I can imagine the repairs and time needed! All aluminum engine from1963!!! Is that good??? Maybe I have worked on too many old Jeeps. :)
I used to moonlight on a fleet of old Jeeps from 50's to early 70's models. I cut a few of them down the center and narrowed them by 8 inches so they could broom snow off of city sidewalks and not tear up the lawn. Cut the rear axle housing and narrowed it and ran the short axle shaft in both sides for about 8 1/4 inch narrower track. We had a custom made and hardened front shaft for the long side of the dana 27.
