My only on-going problem with my 5.5 is that around 25 degrees (or less), the thing refuses to start.
Really don't want to spend too much on the old thing and yes the weight of the thing, limits what, one old man can do, but hopefully we'll be able to get it going again and otherwise we'll be looking for some kind of an alternative.
I have an oil leak as well and was constantly adding oil, so the crankshaft seal, is a good bet and seems to be the culprit with many of them.
